VFW Post 6024 comrades’, it is quickly coming up on Veteran’s Day when our great nation takes time to celebrate the Veteran’s that sacrificed so much to keep our great nation and the world safe.  Unfortunately in war, some veterans come back injured and must be hospitalized, some for the rest of their life.  The VFW supports the troops in the hospitals, and active duty personnel in need of support.  The Post gets it’s funds to support these projects by the distribution of Buddy Poppies and seeking donations on Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day weekends.
